CAMPOREE OVERVIEW
This year’s Camporee is centered on pirate themed activities, with the competition amongst patrols for the traditional Buckhorn Award.

Troop 316 Webelos Overnighter

Troop 316 is holding its annual Webelos Overnighter on Friday, November 9-Saturday November 10, 2012.
All Webelos and their families are welcome to attend. Sorry no Webelos will be allowed to attend without at least one family member. Come and join the fun!
The cost is $15 per person and includes meals.

Hart Park and Museum Hosts Another Day at the Ranch

Howdy Pardners!
Wrangle up them families and mosey on down to the William S. Hart Park and Museum this Saturday, September 29 to experience a Day at the Ranch.
This educational and entertaining day focuses on a day in the life of a real American cowboy, and features a variety of activities including a cattle “round up” scavenger hunt, a cattle “trail drive” nature walk, arts and crafts, and cowboy hands-on tools and gear.
We can’t forget about a cowboy’s most important resource (and his best friend too!): the horse, and Day at the Ranch will offer a chance to meet and greet some very special horse friends. Be sure not to miss miniature horses Star and Angel from Heads Up Therapy on Horseback, nor the special demonstration hosted by the California Rangers on how to saddle a horse. Some of the saddles you will see are 100 years old!
Day at the Ranch is completely FREE and runs from 9:30am until 12:00pm on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Be sure to don your cowboy gear and we’ll see you there!
